Configured on any binary input
If the input is opened the first (default) language is active and if the input is closed then the second
language is active. In case there is more languages available in the controller it is not possible to
select any other language even through the controller display.
AMF Function
This BI can switch controller function between AMF and MRS.
Hint:
Binary input “AMF function” has higher priority than the setpoint

This BI can switch between basic controller settings in
Manual Idle
This binary input will affect the controller behavior only when the engine is running in MAN mode.
When the input is activated in MAN mode
If GCB is closed the controller will open it.
The controller will try to switch the engine to Idle speed (request to Idle speed is sent to ECU
and LBO Idle/Nominal is activated).
The LCD will indicate Manual Idle state
Generator protections are deactivated
GCB is locked in open position
When the input is deactivated the controller continues in the same way as during starting sequence by
Idle Time.
Hint:
Binary Input GCB Feedback and Binary Output GCB Open/Close must be configured. Otherwise Idle
speed function will not be activated!
