Note:
Scratches created on nozzle surface will damage the head. Sometimes the damage is not visible to
naked eye and nozzle check is clear, but nozzles gets blocked after printing for some time. Scratches changes
the firing angle of drops and causes inks to pile up near nozzles during printing and it blocks the head firing
after sometime.
Head Spraying
Head spraying clears the mixing of colors during blotting, may also clear few dry nozzles. When heads are
sprayed, all the nozzles are actuated at a high rate which helps in opening up few dry nozzles of the printer.
To perform head spraying,
click
on the
Spray
button available under the
Quick Access Toolbar
, as shown
below:
