5.4.2 Change Password

Click the Camera Setup button
•
Click the Change Password button
The Change Password page serves a number of
different users depending on the method of arriv-
ing on it and user authentication status. The main
functions of the page are: Help, Login, Logout, and
password change.
•
Home - allows user to get back to the
Home page if the user is currently logged
in or logging in is not required.
•
Login - allows user to login at a different levels.
•
Logout - allows user to destroy the current session and log in at a different level.
•
Update - allows user to change a password.
•
Help - allows user to choose a topic from a drop-down list.
Establishing the Password
To set the user access level follow the next steps:
•
Click the Camera Setup button from the Home page.
•
Click the Change Password button from the drop-down list.
•
Select the access level button: Admin, Priv, User, Guest.
NOTE:
If you log in as the administrator for the first time, select the
Admin
button and use the de-
fault password
“Camera”
(letter C is uppercase, other letters are lowercase). For security reasons
it is recommended that the password be changed after you log in for the first time. See section 5.4.2.
Type the password for the user. Passwords are case-sensitive.
To change the user password follow the next steps:
•
Type a new password. Passwords are case-sensitive.
• Confirm a new password.
•
Click Update.
