5.4.1.4 OSD (On Screen Display)
The user must be logged in as Admin in order to make changes
in the OSD tab.
•
Click the Camera Setup button
• Click the Configuration button
•
Click the OSD tab
The OSD (On Screen Display) menu allows user to configure
text displayed in video windows on a monitor.
OSD Setup - allows user to enter a description of the Camera location, using up to 24 characters.
Display - allows user to enable or disable the Camera description on the monitor by selecting the Enable
or Disable button.
Changing the Camera Name
The user must be logged in as Admin in order to make changes.
•
Click the Camera Set Up button.
• Click the Configuration button.
•
Click the OSD tab.
•
Type a new name of the Camera into the Line 1 box.
•
Select the enable button to show the Camera name on the monitor display. The name will be shown
in the top left corner of the monitor display.
•
Select the disable button to hide the Camera name.
•
Click the Apply button to display the new name without saving it.
•
Click the Revert button to display the previous Camera name.
•
Click the Save button to save the new Camera name.
•
Click the Default button to display the default factory name: HELIOS 7420HD CAMERA
