The optical path of the crossover SwitchBlade can be seen in the following diagrams:

The default power on state is in TRANSMIT (Figure 33) where the optical path is aligned to the immediate
neighbouring connector.


The CROSS state, as the name suggests, swaps (or crosses over) the two optical paths of the SwitchBlade
channel as above in Figure 34.

