If the desired device is not displayed in the
‘
Discovered Instruments’ list, click on
‘Refresh’ and newly scanned devices will
show up in the list.
In case of more than one MTP1000 device,
‘Back’ can be used to navigate from the
Instrument interface page to the Home page
and multiple devices can be dragged to
‘
Monitored Instruments’ accordingly.
Note : Make sure you save the configuration
for the current MTP1000 selection before
Refreshing.
If no devices are displayed in the
‘
Discovered Instruments’ list then use the IP
address search bar at the bottom of the
Home page to manually enter an IP address
range. Once ‘ticked’ the Test Instrument
Manager will search through this IP address
range for all MTP-1000 devices and add
them to the ‘
Discovered Instrument’ list.
Note : If your device is still not shown in the
‘Discovered Instrument’ list; please ensure
both your PC and the MTP1000 devices are
connected to the network correctly.
If the IP
address was obtained automatically from a
DHCP server, set the corresponding values
as limits for the search range.

Load
To change to a previous configuration for the current MTP1000. Click ‘ Load ’ and the ‘ Open ’ dialog will appear.
Navigate to the desired configuration folder and select the desired configuration file then click ‘ Open ’.
Loading configuration files will change the parameters for all the Switches defined when the file was
created. If new modules have been installed since the configuration file was created, these will have
to be manually changed and the configuration file should then be updated using the ‘
Save ’ tool.
