ALARMS
A1: LACK OF WATER ALARM.
!
Warning:
Failure verification: LED LIGHT FAILURE INTERMITTENT.
Final failure: LED LIGHT FAILURE ON.
!
Description:
If the system detects lack of water in the inlet during more than 10 seconds, it will stop the pumps and the ART will
be activated. If there is installed an external device as a level sensor, when this one detects lack of water it will stop inmediately
the pumps. The system will show the message of lack of water.
!
System reaction:
After 5 minutes ART system will start again the first pump during 30 seconds, trying to restore the system. In
case of persisting the lack of water, it will try it again every 30 minutes for 24 hours. If after all these cycles , the system still
detects lack of water, pumps will remain permanently off until the damage will be repaired.
!
Solution:
There is a lack of water in the inlet, it has been activated the safety system: you should verify the feeding of the
hydraulic network. The pumps can be primed using the push-button START/STOP ( the led light AUTOMATIC should be off, if it
is not, press the push-button to disable
it).
A2: OVER-INTENSITY ALARM.
A3: DISCONNECTED PUMP ALARM.
!
Warning:
Final failure: LED LIGHT FAILURE ON.
!
Description:
The system has detected that the pump does not answer and has disconnected it to avoid worst damages. The
MULTIMATIC has three 16 A delayed fuses. In case of pumps with another consumption, the suitable fuses should be chosen.
!
System reaction:
The working mode EW (Emergency Working) is activated allowing the system to continue working
!
Solution when secondary pump is disconnected:
The state of the fuses should be verified and they should be replaced if it is
necessary (Fig 2). The wound of the motor and the pump consumption should be also verified. Once the problem have been
solved the operation will be restored going to the "INSTALLATION" menu (see the chapter configuration) and introducing the
adequate intensity values.
!
Warning:
Failure verification: LED LIGHT FAILURE INTERMITTENT.
Final failure: LED LIGHT FAILURE ON.
number of attempts
!
Description:
The system pumps are protected against over currents by mean of the intensity values established in the
installation menu. These over currents are produced generally by dysfunctions in the pump or in the electric supply.
!
System reaction:
When detecting the thermal failure, the system will test the pumps for the dection of the affected one. Once
detected it will be automatically excluded. The system will try again to restart the excluded pump when the demand of
consumption require it. The control system will carry out 4 attempts in this circumstances. If the system remain locked after the
4th attempt, the pump will remain definitively out of order and system will continue working provisionally in EW mode until the
damage could be repaired.
!
Solution:
Verify the state of the pump, for example the impeller could be blocked. Verify intensity values introduced in the
configuration menu ( it is always recommended to introduce intensity values 15% over the nominal pump intensity). Verify if
there is any fuse damaged. Once the problem have been solved the operation will be restored going to the "INSTALLATION"
menu (see the chapter configuration) and introducing the adequate intensity values.
A4: ACCUMULATION ALARM.
!
Warning
Final failure: LED LIGHT FAILURE ON.
!
Description:
The system analyzes periodically the state of the expansion tanks of the hydraulic installation.
!
System reaction:
If there is not enough accumulation, the system will continue working but is highly recommended to repair it
immediatly .
!
Solution:
The system has detected that the expansion tanks are damaged. The load of air, the state of the membrane and the
state of the sphere should be verified. If it is necessary, you should replace them.
A5: TRANSDUCER DAMAGED ALARM.
!
Warning:
Final failure: LED LIGHT FAILURE ON.
!
Description:
The transducer damages are showed in the SPEEDMATIC´s LCD screen. When this alarm is produced we
should contact with the technical service.
!
System reaction:
The device operation is interrupted.
!
Solution:
Contact with technical service.
BLANK SCREEN.
!
Warning:
Blank screen.
!
Solution:
Check the electric supply. In case of being in right conditions, the general fuse, located in the main plate (fig 2) should
be verified.
In case of simultaneous alarms, they are showed in the LCD screen successively every 3 seconds. When we quit the automatic mode
and go to manual mode, pressing the pushbutton "AUTOMATIC" all the alarms are restored with the exception of alarms 2 and 3. We
should verify the fuses and introduce again the intensity values in the installation MENU.
WARNING:
MULTIMATIC has a volt-free contact with 1 A of maximum intensity for the transmission of diferent types of signal
(optical, acoustics, etc). See connections diagram Fig. 5.
