Administrator Guide

Network - General Settings

Once logged into the device, you can change the Network Settings in General Settings under

Network if you want to switch over to a static IP address.

Generally, you can leave the Host and Domain fields empty.

SSH Port 22 is enabled by default. You can change the Port and disable it, if desired.

If limiting Network Ports, then the ports to have open are:

• tcp 22 SSH Secure Shell Protocol (Configurable)

• tcp 53 DNS Domain Name Service over TCP

• udp 53 DNS Domain Name Service over UDP

• tcp 80 HTTP Hyper Text Transfer Protocol

• tcp 161 SNMP Simple Network Management Protocol

• tcp 162 SNMP Trap Simple Network Management Protocol Trap

• tcp 443 SSL Secure Socket Layer (Deprecated)

• tcp 554 RTSP Real Time Streaming Protocol

• udp 554 RTSP Real Time Streaming Protocol

• udp 5060 SIP Session Initiation Protocol

• tcp 5062 SIP Session Initiated Protocol
