RTSP Reconnect:
if this button is clicked, the Decoder drops the RTSP connection and
re-creates it.
The decoder will automatically generate RTSP Keep-Alive messages once a minute, for RTSP
servers that require it.
RTSP support in the decoder has the following limitations:
•
For audio, only AAC compression with sample rates of 48 kHz, 44.1 kHz, 32 kHz,
24 kHz, 22.05 kHz and 16 kHz are supported.
•
For video, only H.264 compression is supported.
•
No support for encrypted passwords.
Color Bars
No additional parameters are required for Color Bars. Use the Decoder Output Configuration
controls to specify the desired output, frame rate, and other video output parameters.
Decoder Program and Audio Selection
This section is only displayed if the
Source
parameter in Decoder Input Configuration is set to
either
ASI Input
, or
UDP/RTP Stream
,
or
RTP/ARQ
. It allows the following selections to be
made:
•
If the stream being received by the decoder is a Multi-Program Transport Stream
(MPTS), the program to be decoded can be chosen here.
•
If the program being played by the decoder has multiple audio PIDs, the audio PIDs
being decoded can be selected here.
•
If the stream has multiple Video PIDs (e.g., multi-angle), the
Video Service
select drop-
down allows selecting the desired video PID (in the example below, PID 0x100 and
0x120). For each available video PID, the type (MPEG-2 or H-264) is also shown in the
drop-down.
