Quick Start Guide

The Control Panel can be accessed

in a number of ways in

Windows 8.1

• Click

Search

in the

Windows Charms Bar

(see previous page) and the search pane will pop out. Type

Control Panel

and select it from the results to the left.

• Click on

Keyboard Shortcut to Control Panel

You can also use keyboard shortcuts to access the Control Panel. Press the

Windows logo key

and X

to bring up

the context menu, and then press

to bring up the Control Panel. Alternatively press the

Windows logo key

to bring up the

Run

dialog box, and then type “

Control Panel

” and press Enter to access the Control Panel.
