Cleaning the Dust Container, Air Filter, Dust Filter and Sieve
1. Press the release button (

) of the dust container (

) and pull it out of the device by
the carrying handle.
2. The
fi
lters are located inside the dust container (
8
). To remove them, press the re-
lease button (
B
) and open the dust container lid (

).
3. Take out the air
fi
lter (
D
) and the dust
fi
lter (
C
), tap them out or brush them out
with a soft brush to remove dirt and
dust. Thoroughly rinse the air
fi
lter (
D
)
and the dust
fi
lter (
C
) with clear, luke-
warm water if necessary.
CAUTION:
Do not under any circum-
stances clean the air
fi
lter (
D
) and the
dust
fi
lter (
C
) in a washing machine or
dishwasher! Under no circumstances
should you dry them in a tumble-dryer.
Shake off excess water and let the air
fi
lter (
D
) and the dust
fi
lter (
C
) dry com-
pletely in the air.
4. Close the dust container lid (
4
) again and hold it
fi
rmly with one hand on the carrying
handle and the other hand on the handle on the dust container (
8
). Twist the dust
container lid (
4
) anticlockwise to remove the dust container lid (
4
) from the dust con-
tainer (
8
).
5. Twist the sieve (
A
) anticlockwise to remove it from the dust container lid (
4
).
6. Thoroughly rinse the dust container (
8
), the sieve (
A
) and the dust container lid (
4
)
with clear, lukewarm water if necessary.
CAUTION:
Do not under any circumstances
clean the sieve (
A
), the dust container lid (
4
) and the dust container (
8
) in a washing
machine or dishwasher! Shake off excess water and let all parts dry completely in
the air.
7. Once all the parts have dried, insert the sieve (
A
) back into the dust container lid (
4
).
Make sure, the locking lugs on the sieve (
A
) engage. Twist the sieve (
A
) clockwise
until it locks.
8. Twist the dust container lid (
4
) clockwise to secure it to the dust container (
8
) so that
the arrow marked on the dust container (
8
) points to the closed lock symbol on the
dust container lid (
4
).
9. Open the dust container lid (
4
) and place the
fi
lter back.
10. Close the dust container lid (
4
) again.
11. Insert the dust container (
8
) into the device. Grip the carrying handle and
fi
rst place
the bottom of the container into the device. Then press the carrying handle against
the device housing until the dust container (
8
) audibly engages in the locking catch.
Lift up the device by the carrying handle to check whether the dust container (
8
) is in
the correct position.
