Troubleshooting
If the device does not work properly,
fi
rst check whether you are able to rectify the prob-
lem yourself.
Do not attempt to repair an electrical device yourself!

be switched on.
The mains plug is not inserted
correctly in the plug socket.
Insert the mains plug.
The plug socket is defective.
Try another plug socket.
No mains voltage is present.
Check the fuse of the mains
connection.
The fuse in the fuse
box is triggered.
Too many devices connected
to the same circuit.
Reduce the number of devic-
es in the circuit.
The performance is
weak.
Is the exhaust air valve (

Close the exhaust air

).
Is the dust container (

full?
Empty the dust container (

).
Are the

lters heavily clogged?
Clean the dust container (

and all

lters.
Is the nozzle, the telescopic

) or the suction hose (

clogged?
Switch off the device, pull
the mains plug out of the
plug socket and remove the
blockage.
Dust escapes from
the device during
cleaning.
Is the dust container (

correctly and / or not (correctly)
inserted into the device?
Correct the

).
Are the

lters heavily clogged?
Clean the dust container (

lters.
The mains cable
cannot be wound up
fully.
The mains cable was not cor-
rectly wound up in the device.
Pull the mains cable out a little
and press the

During vacuum
cleaning, an un-
pleasant smell is
detected.
The device is being used for

A smell often develops when
new devices are

The smell should disappear
once the device has been
used several times.
