Operation
PLEASE NOTE!
■
Only switch on the vacuum cleaner once all parts have been completely mounted and
all
fi
lters have been inserted correctly.
■
Note the
MAX
marking on the dust container. If during use the marking is reached,
empty the dust container. The
fi
lters must also be regularly cleaned in order to pre-
vent overloading of the motor.
■
To ensure that the mains cable does not become hot during operation, pull out at
least two thirds of the total length from the device before the vacuum cleaner is
switched on. Do not pull out the mains cable with force up to its maximum length (not
further than the red marking on the mains cable) in order to prevent damage!
1. Make sure that the accessories are attached correctly to the device (see the “Assem-
bly” chapter).
2. Pull the mains cable out of the housing as far as the yellow marking. Do not pull it any
further than the red marking!
3. Insert the mains plug into a properly installed plug socket that is easily accessible.
4. Press down the On / Off switch (
11
) to switch on the device.
5. Adjust the suction strength using the suction strength control (
11
).
6. Guide the nozzle over the surface to be cleaned. The vacuum cleaner can be pulled
along like a sledge during cleaning.
7. Press the On / Off switch (
11
) again after vacuuming to switch off the device.
8. Pull the mains plug out of the plug socket, hold the mains cable securely and press
the
button for winding up the cable (
13
). Holding the mains cable prevents any
“whiplash” effect of the mains cable.
9. To ensure optimum performance of the device, clean the dust container (
8
) and all
fi
lters regularly (see the “Cleaning” chapter).
Tip:
The handle (
1
) is equipped with an exhaust air
valve 2). To reduce the suction force when vacuum-
ing upholstery, rugs or light, movable objects, open
the exhaust air valve (
2
) by sliding. Normally the ex-
haust air valve (
2
) should be closed so that the suc-
tion force is not unnecessarily reduced.
