For all windows in the

User Preferences

section, click

to save any changes that

you made and keep the window open. Click

to save changes, and close the

window. Click

to close the window without saving any changes that you made

since the window was opened or since the last time you clicked

After opening a window, if you are unsure of any change that you have made, it is a good
practice to select

, close the window, and then re-open it and start over. This

reduces the risk of applying unintended changes.
