Configuring the 100VG AnyLAN Interfaces
Explanations of the 100VG-specific portions of the
show interfaces
display follow:
•
vg alignment error—occurs when a non-octect is received
•
vg balance error—occurs when a balanced symbol is received, but it is not the correct symbol
•
vg invalid ipm error—occurs when a packet is received with an invalid packet marker (IPM)
•
vg symbol error—occurs when a symbol is received, which was not decoded correctly
•
vg skew error—occurs when the skew between four pairs of twisted-pair wire exceeds the
allowable skew
•
vg frame delimit error—occurs when a Start of Frame error is received or a False Start error
occurs
•
vg high priority packets—shows the number of high-priority packets received
•
vg high priority octects—shows the number of high-priority octects received

The
show version
command displays the configuration of the system hardware (the number and type
of each interface processor type installed), the software version, the names and sources of
configuration files, and the boot images.
