7.6.11. Miscellaneous settings
IMPORTANT
Support for FIPS, CANBUS, PROFINET and QNET are only
available if the corresponding plug-ins are installed. If the
corresponding plug-in is not installed, the check-box for the
relevant option will not be available.
The following plug-ins are needed to activate these features:
• FIPS:
FM-FIPS
• CANBUS:
FM-CANBUS
• PROFINET:
FM-PROFINET
• QNET:
FM-QNET
Note that FIPS support is not available for the FM1000
Gateway and FM10000 Gateway.

The
MISC SETTINGS
window contains controls to change the following
settings:
• The device name, as used to identify the Cisco FM1200 Volo within
the FMQuadro network map and to other Cisco utilities.
• The operation of the physical Reset button on the unit.
• Device firmware upgrades by trivial file transfer protocol (TFTP).
• The unit's federal information processing standards (FIPS) 140-2
compliance settings (if applicable).
• The unit's controller area network (CANBUS) support settings (if
applicable).
