Set a Static Link Speed

With an EFI BIOS, configure the following settings that correspond to the connection link speed (4, 8, or 16 Gbps).

Note:

Do not set Auto negotiate - Default. First, set the fixed link speed. Otherwise, the connected device will

not be recognized.

1. Select Force Link Speed <Auto negotiate

– Default> and then press the Enter key (Figure 90).
