Instructions Manual
Keep an upright and relaxed position while standing on the electrodes.
For a correct measurement, the weight of the person must be at least 50 kg .

Measurements must be carried out respecting at all times the diagrams and warnings
outlined in this manual. Otherwise the obtained values might be erroneous.
Do not touch the metal surfaces during the measurements.
Never touch the conducting surface to be tested during the contact voltage
measurement.
4�4�3�- CONTACT VOLTAGE
To carry out the measurements it is necessary to follow the following steps:
1�- Connect the current injection cables as shown in section “
4.4.1.- CONNECTION OF THE HARDWARE
GROUND AND AUXILIARY GROUND

2�- The measurement electrodes GTEST Probe must be connected to each other via a banana cable,
and also connected to a voltage terminal on the device.
The other voltage terminal must be connected to any metal part (fence, door, housing, etc.)
transformation centre or substation that could be exposed to dangerous voltages in the event of a
ground fault.
3�-
Place the electrodes on the surface, with the metallic side in contact with the ground.
The placement of the measuring electrodes must be performed in such a way that they are 1 metre
away from the conducting surface to be tested in the contact voltage test
