Instructions Manual

GETEST

Measurements must be carried out respecting at all times the diagrams and warnings

outlined in this manual. Otherwise the obtained values might be erroneous.

Pouring water around the auxiliary land (spikes system) or increasing the number of

spikes are measures that can solve the problem.

45- WARNING AND ERROR MESSAGES

Table 6

shows the warning and error messages that may occur during the test.

Table 6: Warning and error messages

Message

Cause

Solution

Error: Reading cal data

Loading default data

Calibration data error the device may be out

of calibration.

Contact the TAS to receive instructions, if

possible.

Error: Invalid current value

The entered value is not valid.

Enter a correct value.

Error: The file is not valid

The file you want to open is not in the

correct format.

Select a "CSV" file.

Error: Main contactor fail-

ure This remains disabled

Verify security key

Safety key in

 TEST DISABLED

 position.

Turn the key to the

TEST ENABLED

position.

Error: Impossible to reach

required current

Do you want to continue

extrapolating the data?

The device cannot reach the required

current due to an undefined cause. If al-

lowed,

Getest

 Application will extrapolate

the values to the desired current, applying

the highest current it is capable of being

reached.

Connect the device to a mains sock-

et connected to an installation with less

impedance, or to a generator with more

power. You can also try reducing the load.

Danger: Fault in main con-

tactor

Remains activated

There is a risk of electroshock.

The main contactor is broken, the safety

protection is invalidated.

Contact the TAS.

Erratic voltages higher than

50V Continue?

There is a risk of electroshock. Erratic volt-

ages are too high.

It is possible that one phase of the mains

is grounded.

Contact the person in charge of the

installation you are checking.

Danger: very high loop

resistance, possible con-

nection error Check con-

nections and make sure

that nobody is touching

the injection circuit Do you

wish to continue?

There is a risk of electroshock.

Resistance found is too high, this may be

due to poor connections.

Check the connections, make sure that

no one is touching the connectors/

electrodes / auxiliary ground; remove rust

from connectors / electrodes / auxiliary

ground.

Warning: the device may

not have enough power to

inject the required current

Loop resistance is too high

for the indicated current Do

you wish to continue?

There is a risk of electroshock.

Resistance is too high for the requested

current.

The

GETEST

 will apply the maximum

power, but will not be able to reach the

required value.
