5 Detailed functions of PLC Component
This section explains the interfaces of PLC component and functions of PLC CPU built-in
in Hybrid Xpanel. Also you can find information regarding communication settings
which is required for operating PLC.
5.1 External Interfaces of PLC Component
As shown in [Figure 9], there is a serial communication port which is provided by PLC
component. Through this interface, RS232C or RS485 is supported depending on the
model.
Notice
Either RS232C or RS485 is supported on the PLC component. The model number
describes the actual type of standard installed. To know which serial communication
standard the product supports, please check your ordering information.
ex) CM-HP07CD-AER supports RS232C and CM-HP07CD-AES supports RS485.
If the model number ends with R it supports RS232C, and if it ends in S it supports
RS485.
A serial communication port of PLC is located on the bottom side of the product.
