HELP
The
software
does
not
install
or
does
not
start:
‐
Check
that
Microsoft
.Net
Framework
2.0
is
installed
on
your
machine.
To
do
this,
click
on
"Configuration
panel"
then
"Program
and
functions"
for
Windows
7/Vista
or
"Configuration
panel"
then
"Add/Remove
programs"
for
Windows
XP.
If
the
software
is
not
installed,
please
install
the
software
on
the
installation
CD
provided,
then
reinstall
the
OPC
server.
The
Dongle
is
not
detected:
‐
Check
that
the
"Sentinel
Protection
Installer"
utility
program
was
properly
installed
during
installation
of
the
OPC
server
(see
Configuration
panel).
If
the
problem
persists,
please
uninstall
and
reinstall
the
OPC
server.
The
OPC
client
does
not
detect
the
OPC
server:
‐
Check
that
the
OPCEnum
service
is
activated
‐
Check
that
the
firewall
or
antivirus
software
is
not
blocking
access
to
the
OPC
server
No
stations
are
detected
by
the
OPC
server
configurator
or
the
OPC
server
itself:
‐
Check
that
the
different
stations
don't
have
the
same
IP
address
A
conflict
was
detected
on
the
network
due
to
a
similarity
in
the
names
of
the
panels
on
the
network:
‐
Please
configure
the
panel
names
on
each
station
to
ensure
they
are
unique
‐
This
error
message
does
not
block
the
operation
of
the
OPC
server
‐
This
field
is
only
available
from
CIATControl
version
2.2.0.
For
older
versions,
please
contact
reference
CIAT
agency
The
write
does
not
function
on
datapoints:
‐
When
writing
the
values
to
"multi
‐
fields"
type
items,
all
the
fields
must
be
written
simultaneously.
Modification
of
the
panels'
IP
addresses
and
adding/deleting
of
panels
is
not
acknowledged
in
the
OPC
server:
‐
Acknowledgement
is
effective
once
the
OPC
server
is
restarted.
