8.1 Vehicle Body
1. Inspect each area in accordance with the “Periodic Inspection Table” . (Page 25)
Perform servicing if defective conditions are found.
2. Clean the external surface with a cloth moistened with oil. Lubricate areas which may become rusty.
3. Increase air pressure of the tires to a value slightly higher than the standard value.
4. Apply blocks in front of and behind the front wheels.
5. Move the cutting blade clutch lever to "ON" after confirming that the engine is stopped.
6. Lubricate and grease areas to be lubricated and greased. (Pages 34)
7. Remove key from the main switch.

1. Remove the battery from the vehicle.
2. Check the amount of battery fluid and add when
necessary.
3. Store the battery in a cool and dry area.

8. Storage (Long-term Storage)
When storing the vehicle for a long time, appropriate maintenance is required for future use. After
performing the after-use maintenance (see page 45), follow the instructions below.
Do not store the vehicle, battery, or fuel near open flames or in a high temperature
area to avoid accidental fires.
Do not store the vehicle in a dusty or damp place. Cover vehicle with water proof
cover after the engine has cooled.
