Secondary Fuel Filter and Filter Base

FIGS. 35–36:

Removing the secondary fuel filter and filter

base.

1.

Disconnect the hose assemblies (2), (3) and (4) from
the port connectors (18). Cap the hose assemblies
with the Tooling (A).

2.

Remove the two port connectors (18) and the 90°
fitting (1) from the filter base (15). Remove the O-ring
seals (17) from the port connectors.

3.

If necessary, remove the four plugs (21) from the filter
base (15). Remove the O-ring seals (20) from the
plugs.

4.

Remove the filter element (19) from the filter base
(15).

5.

Remove the four bolts (16) which fasten the filter
base (15) to the machine.

6.

Remove the stud (15A) from the filter base (15).
