ELECTRIC STARTING MOTOR -
REMOVE AND INSTALL
Removal Procedure
1. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the OFF
position.
2. Raise the hood. Refer to Operation and Maintenance
Manual, Hood (Engine Compartment) - Raise/Lower.

3. Disconnect the wires (1), (2), (5), and (6).
4. Remove the three bolts (3) and the electric starting
motor (4) from the machine.
Installation Procedure
NOTE: Remove the paint from the bores and the threads
of the bolts (3) before the installation procedure.

1. Install the electric starting motor (4) in the tractor with
the three bolts (3).
2. Connect the wires (6), (5), (2), and (1) to the electric
starting motor.
3. Lower the hood. Refer to Operation and Maintenance
Manual, Hood (Engine Compartment) - Raise/Lower.
4. Turn the battery disconnect switch to the ON position.
