6. Remove the bolts (5), (6), (7), and (8).
7. Remove the shield (9) and bracket (10) from the
alternator.
8. Remove the alternator (2) from the bracket.
Installation Procedure
FIG. 28: Installing the alternator
1. Place the alternator (2) in position on the bracket.
2. Place the shield (9) in position on the alternator.
3. Install the bolts (8), (6), and (5) in order to hold the
alternator in position.
4. Place the bracket (10) on the alternator and install the
bolt (7).
