Maintenance and removal
Do not allow unqualified personnel performing maintenance and ensure that
the personnel in charge has read this manual.
Do not perform maintenance while the system is operating.
All maintenance and repair operations must be performed with the current
cut-off; maintenance of electrical parts must be performed by specialised
personnel.
Always use genuine Casotti spare parts; using non-genuine spare parts may
cause irreparable damage to the system and personnel.
Standard maintenance of the sprayer involves lubricating the internal pins of
gears which drive the nozzle holder curves, by pumping lubricating grease
into the greaser.
It is not possible to tell when lubrication is necessary, therefore perform 1
pumping a year.
The Casotti sprayer, as designed, does not require specific cleaning, however
we recommend cleaning the pipes with water at the end of the work cycle.
The machine comprises various types of materials: they must be disposed of
according to current regulations in the country of use.
Contact the appropriate entities for the place and methods to do so.
The first operation to be performed is removing the electrical connection
between the sprayer and the tractor.
Unscrew the rubber hose connecting the pump and the sprayer, unscrew
the orthogonal union (fig. 30 of spare parts) and remove the sprayer from
the support pipe.
Then remove the various parts of the sprayer and dispose of them separately,
as follows:
