SYSTEM OPERATING INFORMATION

COOLING SYSTEM

Each propulsion engine has a closed cooling system that
removes heat from the engine and the exhaust system.
Closed systems use a freshwater/anti-freeze mixture to
cool the engine. The coolant mixture runs through a heat

exchanger that transfers the heat to seawater taken in
through a seacock for each engine.

Some engine options require sea water to cool the heat
exchangers or engines. These options have a seawater
seacock and strainer for each engine.
