(d) When a laid drain piping is used for multiple equipment, the common piping should be lower than the wash ports of
equipment by about 100mm, as shown in the figure. Thicker pipes should be used for this application.
(e) The hard PVC tube inside the room must be provided with the heat insulating layer.
(f)Water trap:
Once the water level in drainage pan goes up, it builds a negative pressure at the water drainage hole. This results in
water leakage. A water trap should be created to prevent leakage. The water trap should be such that it can be cleaned
easily. Use a T-shape connector as shown in the figure below. It should be placed near the unit, as shown in the figure.
It is placed at the middle of drainage hose.
(g) Don't place the drainpipes near an environment which has irritant gas. Don't put the drainpipe directly into the sewer,
as there might be sulfurous gases.

Drainage Test:
Ensure the drain hose is clear and all connections are tightly sealed before testing. Perform the drainage test as follows:
1. Add about 500ml of water into the drain pan through water injection port.
2. Switch on the power and operate the unit in cooling mode. Check that the water outlet drains water normally and that
there are no leakages at the connections. After the drainage test is complete, replace the water injection port plug. The
position of water injection port is shown in the figure
3. The maximum displacement of this indoor units is 34kg/h.
