Installation of air-inlet grille
The angle of air-inlet grille should be parallel with that of air inlet direction; otherwise it will cause more noise. As shown in
the figure on the right.
Installation of Duct Pipe of Indoor Units:
1. Installation of the air blowing pipe:
With a square blast pipe, the bore shouldn't be less than the sizes of air outlet pipe.
2. Installation of the air return pipe: Connect one side of the air return pipe to the air return port of the indoor units with
rivets. Connect the other side to air return shutter, as shown in Fig.
3.Insulating Supply Ducts: Supply and return air ducts should be insulated.

This machine uses a DC motor. Multiple ESP adjustments are available. The factory default is standard ESP. The ESP &
Silent mode can be set according to the static pressure and the noise levels preferred.
Setting ranges are as follows:
Operation:
40VCW317FQEE wired controller: With the display on, press the Menu key to enter the menu interface. Press Installer
Settings key to enter the interface. Then select Special Settings and enter password: 841226. ESP is the corresponding
static pressure gear number function. When the left and right arrows are flashing, press the Enter key to confirm. When
the left and right arrows are still, press left and right keys to adjust. After adjustment, press Enter to confirm. For more
details on operations with other wired controllers, please refer to the technical manual.
Installation Procedures
Drainpipes
(a) Keep a gradient (1/50-1/100) of the drainpipes and avoid lobing or curving.
(b) When connecting the drainpipe to the equipment, don't apply too much force on one side of the equipment. Meanwhile,
the piping should be positioned as close to the equipment as possible
(c) For the drainpipe, a general purpose hard PVC tube can be purchased at local shops. During the connection, insert
the end of PVC tube into the wash port and fasten it with drainage hose and thread clip. Binding agents shouldn't be
used to connect the wash port and drainage hose.
