Selection of FAN
Push “FAN” button to select the Fan mode.
(NOTE) Every pushing the button, indication
changes in the following order.
• The LOUVER button is accepted only while “ON” is indi-
cated.
• In cooling or heating operation, if restarting the operation
immediately after the operation has stopped once, the
operation is not performed for approx. 3 minutes in order to
protect the machine. The operation restarts automatically
after approx. 3 minutes.
• To set Last-push priority/CENTER/LOCKED, see pages 9
to 12.
• Cautions in heating operation or Auto heating operation
Microprocessor controls automatically.
Fan mode differs from the set mode.
When temperature of the room has reached to the set
temperature and the compressor has stopped, the fan
mode becomes low and air volume decreases excessively.
During the defrost operation, the operation stops so that
cool air does not output.
Air is output even if the operation stops.
When using the air conditioner as Multi type, or when
using in “HEAT” mode by incorporating an auxiliary electric
heater, FAN operation is performed for approx. 30 seconds
after the operation has stopped in order to clear retained
heat.
