Adjusting the Fresh Air Ports (PORT305)
Model 7350 comes standard with these fresh air ports. The fresh air ports will allow up
to 15 air exchanges per hour when fully opened. The fresh air port inlet is located at
the top of the chamber, and the exhaust air port is located near the bottom of the
chamber. The fresh air is drawn into the chamber plenum and distributed throughout
the chamber a percentage of the air that is in the chamber exits through the exhaust
port.
Both inlet and exhaust ports can be adjusted to allow variable airflow through the
chamber. Both ports have a fine mesh screen to prevent objects from getting in or
getting out of the chamber.
If the option STER305 sterilization cycle was purchased with
model 7350 or model 7340 with the PORT305 option, make
sure that these ports are closed before initiating the
sterilization cycle.
