ADJUSTMENT AND OPERATION
Bring the chair into the upright position by pushing down on
the tilt adjustment lever
4
before the user sits down in it.
Position the chair close to the patient to ensure easy access.
Ensure that the legrest
7
is positioned underneath the seat
3
. The legrest is folded away by applying the adjustment
levers to the left and right of the legrest hinges. To adjust the
footrest, release both levers. Reapply the lever when you
have reached the desired position. As soon as the patient is
sitting down in the seat, you can adjust the seat to sitting or
lying position suited to the individual patient’s needs by ap-
plying the tilt adjustment lever. The backrest and seat angles
will automatically stay in an orthopaedically and anatomi-
cally correct position, regardless of the backrest tilt. By re-
leasing the legrest adjustment levers to the left and right of
the hinge, you can now position the legrest in the desired
height and tilt angle. Once you have reached the desired posi-
tion, the hinges are fixed in place using the two levers.
