TROUBLESHOOTING
Before Calling For Service:
If the grill does not function properly, use the following checklist before contacting your dealer
for service. You may save the cost of a service call. Troubleshooting is for general purposes
only. If the problem persist and require a service call, contact your dealer or the nearest au-
thorized service agency to perform service. Only authorized service agencies can perform
warranty service. Call Capital Specialist at 1.866.402.4600
Grill won’t light when knob is turned:

Remove the grill top grates and the radiant trays, watch the ignition tip. You should see the
igniter rod glow brightly.

If there is no glow when the knob is in an ON position, check the electrical connections and
breakers.
