Adjusting the Volume
Adjust the volume of individual camera sounds as follows.
z
Choose [Volume] on the [ 3] tab, and
then press the [ ] button.
z
Choose an item, and then adjust the
volume by touching the desired position
on the bar.
Customizing Sounds
Customize camera operating sounds as follows.

Choose [Sound Options] on the [ 3] tab,
and then press the [ ] button.

Start-Up Screen
Customize the start-up screen shown after you turn the camera on as
follows.

Choose [Start-up Image] on the [ 1] tab,
and then press the [ ] button.

Display Language
Change the display language as needed.

Choose [Language ] on the [ 3] tab,
and then press the [ ] button.

Choose a language, and then press the
[ ] button.

You can also access the [Language] screen in Playback mode by
pressing and holding the [ ] button and immediately pressing

] button.
Silencing Camera Operations
Silence camera sounds and movies as follows.
z
Choose [Mute] on the [ 3] tab, and then
choose [On].

Operation can also be silenced by holding down the [
]
button as you turn the camera on.

Sound is not played during movies (
sounds. To restore sound during movies, drag up across the
screen. Adjust volume by dragging up or down, as needed.
