• Remove the foreign matter from the car-

riage assembly.

• Turn off and then on the power.
• Replace the purge unit.

• After fitting the BJ cartridge or when the

power is turned on with the BJ cartridge in
place, foreign matter exits in the carriage
assembly.

• The actuator operation at time of cleaning

is faulty.
