Optional Equipment

Paper Jam in the Finisher

IMPORTANT

• Always close the top cover or front cover after removing the jammed paper. This also applies when the

paper jam is in the buffer path unit.

• Always check the printer unit after removing the jammed paper in the finisher.

Paper Jam in the Finisher

If a paper jam occurs in the paper feed area of
the finisher, a display similar to the one shown
appears in the touch panel display. Check
where the jam occurred, and follow the
procedure below and the procedure that
appears in the touch panel display to remove
the jammed paper.
