Inserting a Memory Card

1

Open the card slot cover.

2

Insert the memory card in the card slot.

3

Ensure that the indicator lamp lights after flashing for a moment and then 
close the card slot cover. 

Do not try to insert the memory card into the card slot any further 
than the position it stops; otherwise the printer or the memory card 
will be damaged.

The indicator lamp lights.

If you use a CompactFlash (CF) card or 
Microdrive
Insert it into the slot on the lower until it stops 
with its end projecting as shown.

For xD-Picture Card, use the compliant adapter.

If you use a SmartMedia card
Insert it into the slot on the upper until it stops 
with its end projecting as shown.
