Removing the Packing
Material

4. Installing the Software

Install the following software from the

included setup disk that is required in
order to use the scanner.

Remove all of the tape and protective

material that is attached to the main body.

• CaptureOnTouch

• Scanner driver

Note:

The software should be installed

before connecting the machine to a
computer.

The following shows an outline of the

installation on Windows.

Figure 4-101

2) Before installing the software, exit all

other applications.

3) Load the setup disk into the DVD

drive of the computer.

4) The setup menu starts automatically.
5) Click [Typical Installation].
