Delivery Delivery failure S3, S6 During delivery in bottom separation pickup mode, 8AH
the stop mechanism has failed (e.g., the original that
has been picked up is longer than the one being
delivered).
DADF open MS1 When the host copier is at rest (e.g., after running out 91H
of paper), the machine has been opened.
Upper cover open MS2, S4 When the host copier is at rest (e.g., after running out 92H
of paper), the upper cover has been opened.
Recirulating S13 During original pickup, the recirulating lever has 93H
lever idle rotation moved away from the existing original.

1. Response to a Jam
The machine will immediately stop its operation as soon as any of the
jams shown in the foregoing table is detected.
2. Jam Rest
In the case of a pickup delay jam, the machine will be reset when the
originals are removed from the original tray. Otherwise, remove the
originals from the original tray, remove the jam from inside the ma-
chine, and open and close the machine to reset it.

As a rule, the detection of a condition caused by the first original is identi-
fied as “improperly placed original,” and jams are identified starting with
the second original.
