4.3 Functions of the DIP Switch
The DIP switch (DSW1) on the DADF controller PC have the following functions:
Item DSW1 settings Description
Normal Setting all bits to OFF selects normal
operation operation mode.
Pickup/delivery Each press on the push switch (SW3) of the
step operation DADF controller PCB repeats pickup/
delivery operation.
Pickup/reversal/ Each press on the push switch on the DADF
delivery step controller PCB repeats pickup/reversal/
operation delivery operation.
Original stop In response to a press on the push switch
position (SW3) on the DADF controller PCB, an
adjustment original will be picked up and placed on the
copyboard glass.
Thereafter, the stop position may be adjusted
by pressing the push switch (SW1, SW2).
Lastly, a press on the push switch (SW3) will
store the new setting.
Continuous In response to each press on the push switch
pickup/ (SW3) of the DADF controller PCB after
delivery placing three or more sheets of copy paper
on the original tray, pickup and delivery
operations will be repeated.
Sensor level Each press on the push switch (SW3) of the
check DADF controller PCB causes the original
tray paper sensor and the registration sensor
to be in level check mode.
