fork inspection
. Remove the front wheel.
. Clean the fork.
3. Carefully inspect the whole fork for cracks.
Pay particular attention to the fork crown area
and the area where the dropouts meet the fork
blades. Look on the inside of the fork while the
wheel is out. Check the area around the brake
pivot bosses or caliper mount.
Cannondale headshok forks
If you have a Cannondale HeadShok fork you
must follow the special HeadShok inspection
instructions in the HeadShok Owner’s Manual
Supplement that came with your bike. If you do
not have this owner’s manual supplement, get
one now. For important inspection and safety

and follow the inspection instructions contained
in the manual that covers that fork. If you do not
