5.9  Analog outputs 

 

Analog outputs are available for devices with corresponding I/O extensions only. See nameplate. Analog 
outputs may be remote controlled. 

Connection to an analog input card of a PLC or a control system 

The device is an isolated measurement device. The module outputs are galvanically connected, but the 
modules isolated from each other. To reduce the influence of disturbances shielded a twisted-pair cables 
should be used. The shield should be connected to earth on both opposite ends. If there are potential 
differences between the ends of the cable the shield should be earthed on one side only to prevent from 
equalizing currents.  
Under all circumstances consider as well appropriate remarks in the instruction manual of the system to 
connect.

5.10 Modbus interface RS485  

Via the optional Modbus interface measurement data may be provided for a superior system. However,
