Portafilter should

Espresso Making Guide
Keep Portafilter flat,
align, insert and turn
into Group Head
.
Press either:
- ONE SHOT BUTTON = 1 oz shot.
- TWO SHOT BUTTON = 2 oz shot.
- One Cup = 13-15g coffee grinds.
- Two Cup = 20-22g coffee grinds.
Evenly tamp (press) grinds to level indicated.
Wipe away any
excess grinds to
clear edges.
Wipe fallen grinds
on the Drip Tray into
the Grind Bin.
Position cup on
Drip Tray, under
Portafilter.
Extraction begins
and will
automatically stop.

Push down Portafilter
to grind into Filter

Portafilter will sit
flat, unsupported, in

Insert Portafilter
into Grinding Cradle.
Remove used
espresso puck from
Portafilter.
Turn Portafilter and
remove from Group
Head.
