2.4 Basic Mode
The uPro Go contains a mode called Basic Mode. This is the mode that is pre loaded and free of charge on your uPro Go.
BasicMode gives distances to the green center, front, and back as well as all hazards. BasicMode consists of two views,
Green View and Hazard View.
2.4.1 Green View
As shown below n Figure 34, Green View displays distances to the front, center, and back of the green. From Green View
Hazard View can be accessed by pressing the Left LCD Select button. You can also start a Mark Shot measurement from
Green View by pressing the Right LCD Select button. For more information on Mark Shot, see Section 2.4.3.
2.4.2 Hazard View
Hazard View, Figure 35, displays distances to each hazard as well as the distance to clear each hazard or object on the
course. There is no limit to the number of hazards that can be displayed in Hazard View. The hazards are displayed in
order of proximity to your current location.
When more than four hazards or objects are present on an individual hole and arrow will be shown at the bottom of the
screen between the Green and Mark soft buttons indicating additional hazards remain. Use the joystick’s up and down
motion to scroll through the list of hazards. The selected hazard is shown with red text.
2.4.3 Shot Measuring (Mark Function)
Distances of your individual shots can be measured by using the Mark function from either screen in Basic Mode or from
GoMode. Press the Right LCD select button to start the measurement. As shown in Figure 36, the mark button will turn
red and start displaying a running total of the distance traveled since pressing the Mark button. Pressing the Mark button
again ends the measurement and displays the final distance of the shot as shown in Figure 37.
