Insert a screw into each hole, leaving 3/16-inch (.48 cm) of the screw protruding from
the wall.

Align the key slots on the top of the UPS with the screws and slide the unit down into
place.
6.
If the UPS is not snug after test fitting the mounting screws, remove the UPS and tighten
the mounting screws slightly to allow for a tighter fit.
7.
Unpack the battery and slide it into the UPS housing.
8.
Attach the battery leads to the battery (red to red, black to black).
9.
Re-install the battery cover.
Connecting to the Internet
The method by which the GigaSpire is deployed will impact the internet connection. With
power applied to the GigaSpire BLAST, perform the following steps based on the role the
GigaSpire plays in the network.
If the GigaSpire is configured as a Residential Gateway, connect an Ethernet Cable to its
WAN port from the WAN modem (ONU, cable modem, or DSL modem).
If the GigaSpire is configured as a MESH point, connect an Ethernet cable from its WAN
port to another GigaSpire or wirelessly connect the two devices.
