The following table describes the fields of the STP Port table’s upper frame. The Selection 
Details frame displays information about the item currently selected in the upper frame.

Table 46. STP Port Table Fields

Field

Description

Port Number

Identifies the port for which the table is providing STP 
information.

Port Priority

Indicates the priority assigned to the port. The value of this 
field is a number from 0 (highest priority) to 255 (lowest 
priority).

The STP algorithm uses the port priority to determine which 
port to use if a bridge has two ports connected to a loop.
