Setting the Max Xmit Unit Field

To set the Max Xmit Unit field:

Note: This field is not accessible in Frame Relay.

Use the arrow keys to highlight the Max Xmit Unit field.

Enter the desired setting.

Use the arrow keys to highlight the SAVE command.

Press the Return key or press F6. The message “SAVE DONE!”
appears. The ETWMIM Local Management automatically assigns
an Active Port Number to the Interface number and the changes
are saved to memory.
