Cable & Wireless CWD2601 DECT Telephone

Additional handsets

Helpline 0870 241 3201

Press the number of the handset you wish to call.

When the other handset answers the call, press

Talk

the handset or place the handset on the base to transfer
the call. The

Intercom

and

Talk

symbols are turned off.

Conference call

A conference call can be made between an external call
and two handsets as follows:

During an external call, press

INT

The external call will be put on hold and internal dialing
tone can be heard from the earpiece or speaker.

The

Intercom

symbol is displayed in addition to the

External call

and

Talk

symbols.

Press the number of the handset you wish to call.

When the other handset answers the call, press and hold
INT to activate the conference call.

The conference symbol on both handsets is turned on.

You can exit the conference call by pressing

Talk

on the

handset or place the handset on the cradle. The other
handset and the external call will still be connected. The

Intercom

and

Talk

symbols are turned off.

Room monitoring

When more than one handset is registered to the same base
unit, one of the handsets can be used as a room (baby)
Monitor device.

To activate:

Press

Menu

Use

Scroll

to scroll through the menu until FEATURES is

displayed.

Press

Use

Scroll

to scroll through until the display reads

MONITOR.

Press

Use

Scroll

to select ON.

Press

to confirm and exit to MONITOR.

Press and hold

Cancel

to exit to standby.

MONITOR blinks on the display to indicate the handset is in
monitor mode during standby.

To activate the microphone on this handset, make an
internal call to the handset from another handset.
