APPENDIX D – WARRANTY REPAIR AND SERVICE
WARRANTY
BYK-Gardner Viscometers are guaranteed for one year form the date of purchase
against defects in materials and workmanship. They are certified against primary
viscosity standards traceable to the National Institute of Standards and Technology
(NIST). The Viscometer must be returned to BYK-Gardner USA or the BYK-Gardner
dealer from whom it was purchased for warranty service. Transportation is at the
purchaser’s expense. Remove the spindle from the viscometer and attach the
shipping cap to the pivot cup to prevent shipping damage. The Viscometer should
be shipped in its carrying case together with all spindles originally provided with the
instrument.
