III. OPERATION
III.1 ACCURACY OF MEASUREMENT
Table III.1 indicates the accuracy of the viscosity measurement with CAP spindles
1-6. This accuracy depends on both the rotational speed of the cone and the
percent of full scale range (in Poise) at which viscosity is measured. The accuracy
for viscosity data provided by CAP Viscometers is the indicated percentage of the
full scale range. See Appendix A for information on how to determine Full Scale
Viscosity Range (FSR).
